While I generally supported drone strikes in Afghanistan and Pakistan, I worry they were overused. Even force used for good reasons will bring suffering to people who don't deserve it. Hundreds of Serb civilians died when NATO saved Kosovo; thousands in Mosul died in the campaign to free it from ISIS. This should temper enthusiasm for wars even when it's necessary and just to fight them.
