Professor Khalid, I couldn't agree more that we must study the past. Americans also certainly must study much more than what we tend to think of as our history. The people who wrote and ratified our Constitution certainly did so. By doing so, they actually made the history of other nations part of our own history.

Americans also need to study our past much more effectively than we do. I say that, in part, to respond to the contention that Americans have "agency" to "challenge authority." I respectfully submit that Americans are missing the most important aspect of our Constitution and our history. We are missing our sovereignty. So please consider the following., and please kindly let me know if you think I'm missing something.

Amna,

I would recommend your name to my friend Razi Raziudding, who does a weekly Zoom show about Desi people and is very popular

And we do an annual Holocaust and Genocide program for the last 20 years https://centerforpluralism.com/holocaust-and-genocides/

It will be on Sunday, January 25, 2026 - would you consider joining us and leading a talk. There will be three speakers - one on the Holocaust and two on current situations in Gaza and Ukraine and resistance around the world
